Gaps in graphs for aruba 5400zl series switches

I stood up a brand new install of zabbix 6.4 on centos stream9 after years of running zabbix on an older version of centos. I initially had problems with gaps in graphs for fortigate devices that went over 1gig of throughput (a 64bit counter problem). After this new install that problem went away but not i am seeing gaps in graps for these 5 5400 series switches. I checked the queue and I'm not seeing anything there. I still have the other install running in parallel and it does not display these gaps in traffic only the new install. I am at a loss here and welcome and ideas.

Wiped that install and started fresh and mysteriously its working. Used the exact same steps on the exact same VMware config and it works.
