Windows 2012R2 server VPN + Zabbix Agent problem

    I have a problem,
The server is Windows 2012R2 server + AD + VPN server(Routing and Remote Access),
    I'd like monitoring this server.
The ZABBIX Agent installed perfectly and run.
But netstat is only 0.0.0.0:10050 listening,
    Firewall off
And when I try connect to 10050 port with telnet,
    the agent not responding.

    What is the problem?

    Thanks, Szabolcs

Did you configure the zabbix_agent.conf file ?

Yes, and the agent connected once to the zabbix server, because created a new host on the server.

Does the agent start after the VPN is connected or before? If you pick up a new IP while connected to the VPN it might not be binding to it. Try restarting the agent while connected and try again.

            Hi Szabinyak,

I have the same problem, have you solved it on your server?

            Thanks,
            Joel Teixeira

Solution for me: Change Zabbix port

The TCP ports 6001 to 47000 are reserved to NAT64 by desing of Direct Access Server. Zabbix default TCP port is 10050.
Change the Zabbix TCP Port to 4051 for example.
