Zabbix service.info unsupported item key

Hello, I'm trying to use service.info key but it says that it is an unsupported item key. I just want to be able to see if a certain process is running or not.

I am using zabbix-agent just as testing.

This is my configuration of the key: service.info[zabbix-agent,state]

My zabbix server (3.0.5) is running on Centos 7 and my zabbix-agent ( 3.0.5) is on Centos 6.

So yeah, it tells me in the host item section that the key is an unsupported item key.

service.info is windows-specific, you should use

$ zabbix_get -s 127.0.0.1 -k proc.num[zabbix_agentd]
6

for your CentOS.

service.info[service, <param>] - will work for windows like: service.info[IISADMIN,state] if the zabbix agent used in windows is at 4.0 version. (previous version will report unsupported key in zabbix server).
