Zabbix server is not running notification?

Hello,

We installed Zabbix to notificate us when servers on our network are down of are out of disk space and everything is working fine.
Only sometimes when I log in to our Zabbix web interface I see that the Zabbix server is not running.

Is it possible to also get a notification from Zabbix when the Zabbix server isn't running anymore so that I know when that happens, to take a look at the problem and solve it?

If the Zabbix server crashes it is no longer running to fire the alert.

I use Monit to monitor the zabbix_server process on our servers. It is much better lately but we used to have issues where it would stop during the database backup because tables were locked for a long period of time.

You could also use a second Zabbix server and have them monitor each other.

I also was thinking about a second Zabbix server to monitor each other but that is not really what I want because I then have to manage two servers.
Gonna take a look at Monit maybe that's a good alternative for monitoring the Zabbix server.
