I have been having tons of "fun" getting Zabbix installed on several of my servers. When I add a new "Host" and configure the info for it and click "Update", it takes me back to the main "Hosts" page where it takes a LONG time to have those little grey status bars turn red or green.
Is there any way to test the connections? Can I update the frequency of those updates? I am usually installing the Zabbix-agent and snmpd, do I need to set frequencies for each, or is it global?
I have spent a ton of time today trying to do snmpwalk, zabbix_get from the server to the remote hosts, where everything looks like it should work, but it ultimately fails for some reason. It took all day, but I got 4 servers up in the interface, it would just be great to have a "Test Connection" button like we do when configuring mysql connections.
