I've got my firewalls monitored using HTTPS and it is working really well, lots of graphs for various things, triggers and so on. This was implemented as per https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/fortinet
One thing is lacking is hardware information like fan failure, power supply etc? Does anyone know if that monitoring is available over the Fortigate API or would I have to do SNMP monitoring to get that information. If I have to do SNMP then I may as well not do the HTTP based version at all, which is a shame as the integration is smoother.
