Upgrade zabbix server from 5.4 to 6.4

    Hello,

Recently, I attempted to upgrade the Zabbix server from version 5.4.6 to 6.4 following the documentation provided at https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../debian_ubuntu

However, when I ran the command

    apt-get install --only-upgrade zabbix-server-mysql zabbix-frontend-php zabbix-agent

    encountered the following error:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

    zabbix-server-mysql : Depends: libc6 (>= 2.34) but 2.31-0ubuntu9.15 is to be installed
Depends: libldap-2.5-0 (>= 2.5.4) but it is not installable
Depends: libodbc2 (>= 2.3.1) but it is not installable
Depends: libopenipmi0 (>= 2.0.29) but 2.0.27-0ubuntu2 is to be installed
Depends: libsnmp40 (>= 5.9.1+dfsg) but it is not installable
Depends: libssl3 (>= 3.0.0~~alpha1) but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

I attempted to update and upgrade the server before rerunning the command, but unfortunately, I still received the same error.

    Server : Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS
MySQL version : Server version: 10.3.39-MariaDB-0ubuntu0.20.04.2 Ubuntu 20.04
    libssh version : Version: 0.9.3-2ubuntu2.5

    Thank you for your assistance.

It seems that the version apt-get is pulling is for the release 22.04 (that has a newer libc6 version) on the zabbix repo there are deb files for the version 20.04 https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/6.4/u...main/z/zabbix/ i would use one of those and do a dist-upgrade after upgrading zabbix.
Take a snapshot just in case
