Hello everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help with an issue we're experiencing with our Zabbix setup. We have several servers that communicate with our Zabbix server via a Zabbix proxy. For these servers, we have configured the IPMI interface, which is located in an isolated network, separate from our regular network.
The Zabbix server itself can communicate directly with the servers because the Zabbix server has a second interface with access to the isolated IPMI network. The Zabbix proxy cannot access the isolated IPMI network. As a result, we are unable to retrieve IPMI data while requesting Zabbix ipmi items via the proxy.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem? The zabbix-proxy should not have access to the isolated IPMI-Network. Or are there alternative solutions to collect IPMI data despite the network isolation?
I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Sebastian
