Hello,
currently I have s strange problem on a Linux Server with Zabbix (7.0.0 on a Debian 12).
When I try to login to a mailserver either Start TLS or SSL I get the response "Login Denied".
On the logs of the Mailserver (mailcleaner apliance running an exim) I see this one "Incorrect authentication data", the password itself is correct so is the username, as a workarround I have set up a local Postfix on the zabbix server, an I have setup zabbix to send to this server unauthenticated and this server useses the exact same data to send e-mails without a problem
How can I debug this is there a way to see what zabbix tries to send? A tcpdump is not helpfull because of encryption
greetings
