Zabbix 7.0 - Previously entered hosts, host groups, actions & templates all gone

    Hi -

This is a new install of Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and Zabbix 7.0. I opted to use the Postgres database.
After my install yesterday, everything looked normal. I have several of the built in templates visible and the one host (Zabbix Server) was monitoring itself.

Since I wanted to start from scratch, I created some host groups, configured discovery to find all things pingable and add those hosts to the appropriate host groups.
    This was working fine.

Today, I log into the system and it's all gone. Not just the stuff I created yesterday, but the built in templates are also missing. (I'm actually surprised my local login still worked...).
I see several postgres processes running (idle) and Zabbix Server pollers running.
I tried rebooting the server but no change.

I thought this may be just a display issue, so I should see the discovery process scanning some of my networks. Running netstat, it only shows connections to/from 127.0.0.1.

So I'm kinda stuck at this point. This feels like a database issue, but if so, why would my local login work ?

    Any ideas ?

Here's the /var/log/zabbix/zabbix_server.log from startup to about 10 mins later:

Solved: This was a user error. When I created a local admin user, I made the role "admin". I should have made the role "Super Admin". Hope this helps someone else.
