    connect zabbix remote agent to zabbix server

    Hi all..
    Is it possible to connect host "zabbix agent on remote network" to my zabbix server directly (without proxy) ?

    Yes it is, provided that you can either connect from the server to the agent IP address (passive agent, to port 10050) or from the agent (active agent) to the server IP address to port 10051.

    The listening ports on each component can be customized if needed.

      Thanks for the reply.

      As you wrote, that It is provided that you can either connect from the server to the agent IP address (passive or active). I am already monitoring a remote site's network by deploying a proxy on ubuntu VM through SNMP & Zabbix agents, But now I am trying to monitor another remote site's devices using Zabbix agent directly. I don't wish to use proxy.

      Need your guidance in it..

        Hi,
        in /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf set your
        Server=zabbix_server_ip (or FQDN)
        ServerActive=zabbix_server_ip (or FQDN)
        and uncheck proxy from interface:
