monitoring perf_counter and cpu util on a w2k3 server with zabbix 1.1.4

I would like to measure the cpu util of my w2k3 servers. They have 2 cpu's each . How can I achieve this with the current (1.1.4) zabbix agent? system.cpu.util keeps returning "0.0000".
In the zabbix documentation it is mentioned that the perf_counter can't be used for cpu util.
I also would like to measure other .../sec items (network traffic, avg. disk queue, pages, etc). How can I do this?
