update interval of Bits received

Is there anyone who can help me with changing the update interval of Bits received. I try changing it from the template--> item prototypes.
After changing it, the last check value has gone up. Now its 1h 23s.
Please help

Checking too often can cause issues, if your system cannot keep up with it. Too few pollers maybe?
