Upgrade from 6.0.21 to 7.0.2 - DB Upgrade not starting, no hints zabbix-server.log

Today I started the upgrade process on a Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS with
./configure --with-mysql --enable-server --enable-agent --with-net-snmp --with-openipmi --with-libcurl --with-libxml2 --with-ssh2 --with-ldap --with-unixodbc
make
make install, before I stopped the zabbix server and agent services.
In mysql I applied this command.
SET GLOBAL log_bin_trust_function_creators = 1;

I then started the zabbix-server service again, thats from the log.

This is the only message that looks not okay: cannot initialize runtime control service: "rtc" service is already running.
No other hint, why the upgrade process of the database does not start.Might this rtc a reason for this.

The 7.02 php frontend does not start, when the database is not in the right version.
This machines is working since some years now, so probably is installed with the Pre 6.0 LTS version and upgraded several times.

I switched back to version 6.02 but I need a hint how to solve this issue. Strange is that there a no real hints in the log.
I think from LTS to LTS version the upgrade should work without additional steps.

Increase the logging level to potentially see more what's happening.

I guess you have a reason to compile Zabbix yourself on Ubuntu 22.04 that seems to have officially supported packages as well?

The process IDs look unusual: main process is 75688 but then a PIDs 1642 and 1646 are some of the trappers (and starting them is not logged at all). Usually the PID values are just increasing.

Well, after disabling zabbix, rebooting the machine, installing the new bin's with make install and starting the services manually everything seems to work perfect.
Like always, the zabbix team did a good job!
