    Failed to accept incoming connection

    Hi Team,

    I'm experiencing issues activating the Zabbix agents.

    Running an agent on the Zabbix server itself gives me the following:
    =====
    failed to accept an incoming connection: connection from "192.168.0.156" rejected, allowed hosts: "zabbix.local.net"
    =====

    However, the IP and allowed host are one-and-the same.
    Anyone seen this before and now what to do about it?

    Thanks - Will

      Server & ServerActive is set to the DNS name zabbix.local.net
      Hostname is not set; HostnameItem is set to: system.run[hostname -A].

        you need to set the hostname as well to your hostname as
        presented when you do the command hostname

        try to change them to the IP addr the
        Server & serverActive and restart zabbix agent.

        with debug level 4 and copy logs.

          That is not what the manual says?
          The manual states it is not mandatory as long as HostnameItem is set?

          That works as expected.

          I assumed you want this to be done with the DNS name (as opposed to the IP adress)? Since this is the one that is not working?

            i think zabbix accept Server &serverActive only as IPs
            but i dont really know - if all works now then good
