    Discovery trouble

    Hi all!

I have a very annoying trouble with discovery function. We have 2 HP servers:
dl160-1 (IPs 10.12.64.11 and 10.12.64.105) and dp160-2 (IPs 10.12.64.12 and 10.12.64.106). I made a discovery rule with these ip ranges:

    10.12.64.80-200,
    10.12.64.5-13,
    10.12.64.15-19,
    10.12.64.21-80

    with these checks:

    - Zabbix agent "agent.hostname"
    - Zabbix agent "system.uname"

and with these Device uniqueness criterias:

    - IP address
    - Zabbix agent "agent.hostname"
    - Zabbix agent "system.uname"

The discovery rule find every time all of 4 IP address as dl160-1's IPs and I can not delete permanently unwanted/wrong addresses.

    Zabbix 3.0.3

Check the host name in your Zabbix Agent configuration files on the servers. Perhaps they both have the host as "dl-1601"

Hostnames are same (we have about 20 servers with this hostname without any problem), but not equal to dp-dl160-1. Due to same hostname parameter that I set 3 device uniqueness criteria.

You can only choose one device uniqueness criteria

Sorry yes you are right. I chose Zabbix agent "system.uname", because this parameter is individual.
