what is happening on my zabbix 6.4.2 (no proxy, hosts monitored via zabbix agents) is that a bunch of hosts (100+) have been disabled. Several days have passed sincee then. When i have re-enabled some of these hosts, their passive items somehow went into the Queue, marked with "Scheduled check=Never". In this situation there seems to be no way for zabbix to start polling these items again unless i use the "Execute now" button. History retention is set to 3 days. So my assumption is that if the host remain disabled for more than 3 days, when it is re-enabled, there will be no latest data (history has been cleared) and zabbix will think that this item has never worked and will not start polling it again (Scheduled check=never). This might sound reasonable, but why are these items going into the queue ? Is this a bug ?
