net.dns treats a CNAME answer as successful resolution

When net.dns is used to issue a DNS query for, e.g. an A record, but it receives a CNAME answer *only*, this would mean that the name given for CNAME is an alias for the DNS name queried – but this alias has no A record.
I would think this means, resolution (of an A record!) is failed. But the Zabbix Agent2 would treat it as success, c.f. https://github.com/zabbix/zabbix/blo...ns/dns.go#L143
Do you agree this is a but?
