zabbix 7 - retention period

When consulting my items in zabbix and setting the default period of 30 days, zabbix displays the graph, but when selecting a specific day within these 30 days, the graph is displayed blank.

How do I increase the data retention period?, in Zabbix 5.4 I could make this change on the item configuration screen itself, but in Zabbix 7 they removed this setting.

in the documentation the settings are different than in v.7.0.5

7.0.4 has it still in item config.. .somehow I doubt it has been completely replaced with global values
matches docs..

Store up to - specify the duration of keeping detailed history in the database (1 hour to 25 years).

Overlay displays the notification from yellow "!"...

you first pic is 30 days, that is drawn anyway based on trends, not history. MAybe you have some messup there, where history is not kept ? Only trends?
