unable to create graphs in template

Hi there,

I've created a template where i've defined an item (an IPMI check -- text), and a trigger for that item.
The template works perfectly, the item is retrived, and the trigger also works

I'm not able to create a graph for that templated item, when I click on "Add" button, "No data found".

Same problem if I want to manually create a graph for an host where this template is.

Any tip ?

try to create the graph at Template itself
if it does not work then please post screen shots

cpuld it be that the type of imfo is text ? can you change it to numeric ?

yep it is.

changed from text to numeric float, and now i have something to add in template > graph > create graph > "add"

i guess that Graphs can only show numeric values so thats why
it was painted grey.
