MIB has notification with same name as an another notification with diffrent OID

HI ,
I have a situation where a notification(name powersupplyfailed) from a MIB has the same name as another notification with same name but diffrent OID.

is it possible for two notifications ( traps ) to have same name with diffrent OIDS, is there any standard in maintaining MIBS or this is an issue with vendors MIB.

That is the problem with current approach on handle SNMP traps that it does not distinguish traps by IODs by wy content.

Best would be just reimplement SNMP traps support with integrate snmptrapd within zabbix as process/thread listening on snmptrapd port with processing trappers messages basing on source of trap and IOD allowing additionally lookup inside trap message to allow store in zabbix db traps in full raw form or only selected parts of the trape after process content.
