Guys,
I have an odd behaviour that I think is related to a BUG on the system in the vmware collector. This is the situation and how it got fixed.
I had an account in vsphere locked in one of the 6 vmware clusters that I am monitoring right now with zabbix 7.
The problem is that even with the 20 vmware collector for some reason the zabbix server keeps trying to login to this cluster and will get stuck in a loop there. It will never ever go and check the other vmware clusters on the same zabbix 7. This caused nothing vmware related to be monitored until I enabled the debug in the logs and noticed the password was incorrect.
Is it possible to have zabbix notify if there is a password problem? Because I checked in the dashboard for this particular vSphere host and there were 0 errors in the zabbix interface.
Is this a bug? or an expected behaviour? Is there something I can do to let me know when there is a password related issue? I am using the Vmware default template from zabbix.
Carlos
