    PHP option "mbstring.func_overload"

    Good Morning,

We are setting up Zabbix for the first time. We have the latest version of Ubuntu with the latest versions of LAMP installed.

We installed 3.2 of Zabbix (I believe) and now to the point of going to the zabbix web setup for the first time. We get there and we are told mbstring.func_overload need to be off.

    - PHP.ini has mbstring.func_overload set to 0
    - php-mbstring is installed (tried to reinstall with apt-get -y install php-mbstring and it tells me the latest version is installed
-I have a dummy.php file with that displays php info and it states mbstring.func_overload is 0

    What could my problem be?

    Thank You

    Hello!

What happens if you restart zabbix-server service? Will the installer then still assume you have mbstring.func_overload turned on?
