    Active Agent unreachable --> queue

    Hi,
    i've setup zabbix after leaving icinga solution for our company. For security reasons, we are forced to used solely active agents. Whenever such a host gets unreachable(this tends to happen as we are monitoring clients around the whole world) i got large amount 100+ of delayed items in queue for more than 10min. Isn't there any default logic like if agent ping is not available, system will notify and by default stop expecting all the other items please? I handle problems that i cannot solve by suppressing them(as this will prevent for re-notification again and also solve once problem disappears. How should i handle such a hosts so i dont receive this huge queue caused by them?

    For anyone interested, partial solution to this is to set Symptoms --Cause relation between Trigger for 10min Queue >100 and agent availability trigger. Not a perfect solution but its something. Still, i would expect server to logically stop any attempts for scheduling other active checks unless agent active,if present, becomes OKish
