ping checks on host with multiple IPs

    Hi,

we have a couple of router which have more then 10 IP interfaces each. I would like to monitor this interfaces with icmp.
As I understood, the IPs are added as Agent interfaces but how can I create a item/trigger for those interfaces from a template?
Right now, I did this by hand but it´s a cumbersome work creating for every IP a item + trigger. Is there another way to achieve this?

    Thank you

    Hello!

Low-level discovery may be your answer, more information available in documentation with step-by-step instructions: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ork_interfaces

yeah, this would have worked if I could install the agent on the network devices

        Hello!

Yes, sorry, I missed that little detail about network devices. Agent-less checks are also available for discovery, in your case, SNMP discovery. The example is available on the same page.
