Value cache size is growing over time

We have a situation when our value cache size is growing to ~95% over a week and crash a server. After restart this patter repeats itself.
    Here is what I mean.

I read that it could be related to the amount of Non Supported items and indeed we have this number growing-

So is there a way to identify and get rid of 'Non supported' items ?
Are they the reason why our value cache is constantly growing?

    Thanks,
    Oleg

Option0: if your version aren't updated enough, update like kyus (from desert sessions?!) \/.

Option1: investigate items and understand why they become unsupported. Manually fix it (mass updates + pre processing helps)

Option2: temporaly disable "not so necessary items", to make server runs better, gain time, before solve all items problems.

      What's your Zabbix version?

There was a problem related to a memory leak in value cache some weeks ago, but it's already fixed in the latest versions. Here's the report:

We are still on 6.4, looks like this leak was introduced in Zabbix 7?

So, looks like these "not supported" items come from auto discovery, a huge amount of them are from detecting physical disks that do not exist on machines. These discoveries are part of generic templates that we use across the board. These items supposed to be deleted after 30 days but I'm not sure if it happens, I do not see any drops in Value cache size.

With mouse hover red/yellow icons in print, system shows a popup to debug why it's not Working and becoming unsupported. Pre processing steps probably are needed to solve them.
          Working...
