    Link template 'Cannot implode expression'

I've done this before without issue. I'd like to understand what this error means and what to do to resolve it.

I select 'Template_SNMPv1_Device', Add, then 'ERROR: cannot update host'

    Code:
    [ ... ]
    Created: Item "lmemRomID" on "ubnt".
    Created: Item "sysName" on "ubnt".
Cannot implode expression "{ubnt:icmpInAddrMaskReps.delta(0)}>100". Incorrect trigger function "delta(0)" provided in expression. Invalid first parameter.

Is there anything I could clarify that might ease assistance with the issue?

      Hi, me2017.
delta (sec|#num) - difference between the maximum and minimum values within the defined evaluation period, where sec or #num - evaluation period in seconds or in latest collected values. What sense in delta(0) ?

Hello and thanks. I'm not so concerned about the makeup of the expression. As you can see delta(0) is used frequently with all these triggers (see attached).

What I'd like to know is (in increasing importance): why did it initially work, why did it stop working, and what can I do to get it working again?

I guess your screenshot from Zabbix 2.*, may be 2.0.
In this version (0) is the same as (#1). But in Zabbix 3.* function delta(0) is wrong.

We are bound to Zabbix 2.4 as the OS is bound to RHEL 6.8. There are other applications we must support here.

What we'd really like to know is why the template no longer links. Can anyone assist with that issue?
