Zabbix discovery preprocessing item value not appears in first time

I have a problem. I created a discovery for json with preprocessing. Everything works but... When discovery creates an item for new values in json, the first time its value is empty. Only after the second value received does the value appear. It looks like the item is created but it doesn't process it the first time.

I think that is "feature"... first run it has no place to store the data as item is not there yet... item is created and with next run there is a place to store data...

Well, from another forum it appears that this was the intention when designing it. In my opinion, this is a mistake.

"Locating and shooting an intruder" can be the same as "discovering and creating an item" ..
"locating and shooting and retrieving a body", that would be "discovery, create and save a value for and item"... if we look for analogy. Cannot retreive a body, if you have not shot it first.. Morbid examples..

Anyway, I can understand your point, but unfortunately, that thing is as it is..
