    Faild to send mail notification

    Hello Zabbix community!

    I have problem sending email notifications!
    I configure mail based on this tutorial:

    I did everything, and when i test script by sending email it works fine (i get that mail), but zabbix just don't send me email when triggers appears.

    I use default "Report problems to Zabbix administrators" action, and "zabbix-sendmail" script like it shows in tutorial.

    Even in zabbix Action log in attached picture you can see that action should be successful, what am I missing?

    Do you have any suggestion what I should check? I tried with my corporative mail, and also with gmail, same results, it looks like everything should be fine but I don't recieve notification...

      Not sure if it's related but I just discovered a similar problem which has always worked in the past. Probably the most important feature I need to work.

      Upgrading from v3.2.5 to v3.2.6 seems to have corrected the problem for me. I was running like this for about a week without knowing I would never be notified if a server went down.

          Do you have link on some good upgrade tutorial? I have 3.2.3 version.

          NVM, i upgraded version but still no luck

              I solved problem when i changed "Media type", i had script which was pointing to zabbix-sendmail script from that tutorial.

              I changed configuration to :
              type "Email"
              SMTP server: localhost
              SMTP helo: localhost
              SMTP email: zabbix_T53@...


              And it works now!
              So this thread can be closed!
