New to Zabbix, new to the forum, please go easy on me...
Just downloaded the pre-configured Zabbix image for Hyper-V, got it up and functioning, added a handful of Windows Servers to start monitoring via SNMP. No agents installed, SNMP v.2.
Most of the servers will not display performance metrics for memory and disk usage. Not all the servers, but most of them. When I look at the Discovery Rules, the servers that are not displaying those metrics have a "Not Supported" error next to the memory and disk discovery rules. If you click the red box next to the error it displays a message "only partial data received, cannot retrieve OID: '.1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.6' from [[10.10.10.10]:161]: timed out"
The few Windows Server that will display the memory and disk metrics properly do not have this error in the Discovery Rules.
One last thing that's weird, is some of the servers will 'flap', and display the metrics for a while, then just stop.
I have double checked everything, all the SNMP configs are identical, both on the server's service and within Zabbix. I've restarted Zabbix, rebooted the servers, restarted SNMP. Nothing helps and nothing makes sense.
Please help! I would really like to roll this out to my org but its going to be a hard sell with this issue. Thanks in advance.
