Automating saml.authentication configuration

I'm trying to configure SAML authentication for a Zabbix instance, but I'm running into a few challenges:

1. There doesn't seem to be an authentication.edit API available.
2. I haven’t found a way to push the required SAML auth attributes programmatically.

Has anyone successfully automated this configuration? If so, I’d appreciate any guidance or workarounds you’ve used.
