Hello
I want to monitor an Equipment using a virtual IP.
Actually, I have 2 redundant equipments in active-standby mode, with a virtual IP hosted on the active one.
My issue is that if I configure the virtual IP in zabbix host, SNMP is not OK (stay in red) as the SNMP response comes from the physical IP.
As I do LLD discovery of connected Equipment onto my cluster, I have to use this virtual IP.
Indeed, if I configure 2 hosts with physical IP, the standby one keep saying that the remote equipments are not connected.
Is there a way to configure zabbix to accept SNMP response from a different IP than the requested one?
Do I need to configure ALL (both virtual and physical) IP on the same host ?
If someone already encounter this problem and has a solution, it will be great.
Many thx
