External Script Timeout

I have a problem with External check, when scripts Timeout then I have to wait for 20 min till Zabbix run it again ( even if service is running and not timeouting ) can I force Zabbix to run this item immediately?

In case so long running code producing monitoring data better i use zabbix trapper type of data and send those data using zabbix_sender.

The following two methods may also be effective.

- Increase the Timeout in the configuration file
- Shorten the time of Refresh unsupported items

Administration -> General -> Other -> Refresh unsupported items (in sec)
