zabbix client reports incorrect cpu utilization

    Hi Guys,

I have 2 Windows VMs running on a CentOS hypervisor. I used cpu-z to stress the cpu to 100% on the VM and measure the cpu utilization on the CentOS hypervisor. At 100% stress on just one of the VM, it measures close to 50% CPU utilization on TOP or SAR and mpstat.

But, here is the problem, zabbix agent only measures 35% with metric set for system.cpu.util[0,user,avg1]

I saw similar issues at this link: https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-12163

Would you guys know how to fix this?

    Thanks,

it seems that zabbix do not consider this as a bug so i guss this is how it works. maybe you could try create you own script to do so..
