High CPU usage since 7.0.20 update on Linux agent

    Hi,
with our automated OS update we installed 7.0.20 agent tonight on our Linux servers. Since the installation we have very high CPU usage for the agent. With 7.0.19 everything was working normally.
How can we debug the issue?

    Workaround: apt-get install zabbix-agent2=1:7.0.19-1+ubuntu24.04

Same here on 7.4.4 [Debian 13] - strange though: only 4 of my servers have this issue - the rest (40+) don't. And those 4 are 2x2 of the same purpose (NextCloud and SMTP/Spam detection).

All 4 hosts have the same in common: edited mysql.conf in the plugin.d folder [zabbix-agent2]. When those are disabled, the issue disappears.

[Edit] For a moment it disappears... and after some time it's 100% CPU usage again...

I have the same with 7.4.4 on Debian 11 and 12, but only the servers with databases are affected (there could other services, but the databases stand out).

Same here, an it seems the diagnostic matches: the agent2 overloads 1 CPU on servers that monitor remote MariaDB instances.
Debian 12, agent prior to 7.4.4 was ok

Issue was also reported in the bug tracker: https://support.zabbix.com/projects/...lter=allissues. Analysis in the ticket shows that it is related to MySQL/MariaDB monitoring. We see the 100% CPU issue on our Ubuntu proxies and other Ubuntu hosts which run MariaDB. Other linux hosts are not affected.

Having the exact same problem here, my MariaDB hosts are in 100% CPU since I've updated to 7.4.4
        Rolled back to 7.4.3
