Import of templates requires Host Groups

Hi there,

for different reasons we have 2 instances of Zabbix (both Version 6.0.41). In the old one, we created templates for our Linux- and Windows-Servers, that I would like to import into the new instance.
However, although I tell it to not create or update groups, the import fails with the message that host group xy is missing.

So my questions are - do I have to untick one of the other options available as well for a successful import?
And why does it need the host groups? Shouldn't the templates be independent from the groups?
Can I do something in the old instance so the templates don't need the groups anymore?

Template is just a special kind of host. They even sit in same table with hosts in DB. As host cannot be without a hostgroup, also template cannot be without a hostgroup (in later versions without template group(s)).
