Using both agent2 and old agentd on the same host

Hello!

I'm using new modules from zabbix agent 2 (e.g. smart monitoring), but a can't stop using external scripts for the agent. That's why I have to use both types of zabbix agent on the same hosts.

As for now I have to create two different hosts in zabbix with names like s1.example.com and s1.example.com_agent2 . I got used to it but it doesn't look really good way. May be there a better one?

What do you mean "you can't stop using external screipts for agent" ? Everything you can do with classic agent, you can do iwth agent2...

Thank you very much. My great fault. For some reason I thought that zabbix agent 2 isn't able to launch external scripts (userparameter). It's not so.
