I am sure if this is a limitation of zabbix or all other NMS as far as stacks are concerned.
I have 4 switches in stack and would like to monitor processor and memory of an individual switch. Each switch has unique id in stack which is also a part of snmp oids, if I do snmpwalk I can fetch processor and memory from stack for an individual switch.
However unable to create a single template for entire stack as oid changes. If I create multiple templates with different oids for each switch, I cannot assign it to stack as zabbix says "Item "hpnicfEntityExtCpuUsage" already exists on "SW1", inherited from another template."
Any suggestions?
