    On first look seems like you have some host with empty hostname.
    Do you see in all hosts list some entry with empty name?
    Is it whole error message?

      all hostname are in place.
      the issue happen only for Template replacement, tried to add description with no error.

      we don't have any issue with mass update (template replacement) on 3.0.10. (we upgrade our 3.0.10 to 3.2.7)

      I will try to repeat this on 3.2.7 from clean install

        I am also having the same issue as you, but we are still on 3.0.10. This is happening anytime I try to do a mass template update, exactly the same as you are describing. Let me know if you find out any more details!

                    I see same issue in 3.4.1

                    use case: pick one host, mass update, only pick new template to add, get this error:

                    Details
                    Undefined index: inventory [ in hosts.php:394]
                    array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given [hosts.php:394 → array_key_exists() in hosts.php:394]
                    Wrong fields for host "".
