Zabbix logs fill up the /var directory in a week

We have a 30gig for the /dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv folder and it gets filled up. I checked the /var/log/zabbix folder and found the zabbix_server.log and zabbix_server.log.1 files were very big. We have the server VM setup with 8gig of memory and 32Gig of storage. This is a new install, so we only have a couple hosts setup and not much monitoring.

What do I need to do to fix this issue?

As a suggestion you can check the contents of /etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf to see what the parameter DebugLevel is set to. By default it is set to 3.

Also what kind of messages are appearing in your /var/log/zabbix/zabbix_server?

Is there a GUI way to read the logs of just CLI methods?
The DebugLevel section is still commented out.

We did find the LogFileSize was set to 0, so we changed it to 100. I believe a zero means not to rotate the log file.
