zabbic appliance VHD

Dear reader,
I have downloaded the zabbix appliance for azure. I imported it in azure and created a new vm and started it. After booting, i cannot acces the vm. nor 22 or 80 responds. Firewall diagnostic in azure tells me the ports are open.

For testing purpose i have installed hyper-v local on windows 10. I have created a new gen1 vm with the same disk uploaded to azure. I did this because in hyper-v we can actually connect to the vm screen at boot.
What i notice is the Ubuntu splash screen and then the screen goes black. It only responds to a ctrl-alt-end that reboots the vm again showing the splash screen again for a few seconds.

Anyone ever tested this appliance and could tell me what i'm doning wrong here?

Hi,

I have downloaded previous azure appliance 3.2.6. This vhd boots successfully local in hyper-v (as gen1 vm). So i'm pretty sure there is a problem with the newest (3.4.2) microsoft appliances that can be downloaded from zabbix (sourceforge).
Who at Zabbix do I have to notify?

OK,
So i downloaded the 3.6.2 vhd. Edit the repo's and updates zabbix to latest. Then I uploaded this vm to azure.
Everything works fine.

The appliances are good setups for starters to easily get a setup ready and start testing a product. If these appliances are not thoroughly setup before release, you'll scare people away from this great product. That would be a pity.
