Hi guys,

Everything been working fine... However today after importing a few hosts i noticed that the queue on my proxy was backing up and my log shows the following:

Now when i cat the logs of my proxy i see:

" failed to update local proxy configuration copy: database error"

Whats happened?

For some reason there seems to be a load of data in my log when i cat the proxy.log

Is it worth me deleting the database and starting again? I've tried rebooting the proxy, but everytime i cat the logs i keep getting the error above

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running a Centos 7 & MySql 5.7 proxy running zabbix 3.2.4

When i log into the master it does see the proxy. My proxy currently has the following:

Host Count: 298
Item Count 16,772
Required Performance (vps) 52.3

Is there any cleanup/maintenence i can perform on the database to get rid of the stale info?

Hi !

The easiest and fastest solution to your case - just drop the database on proxy and create new from scratch. In this case you will loose all data that is stored on the proxy DB and not synchronized to the Zabbix server - if that is acceptable

this will take only a few minutes - you must only create DB schema, and give zabbix user access to that schema
