Hi,

I would like to get the information on my .txt files (on Windows).

What kind of type should I use for this ? Zabbix Agent (active) ?
And what is the correct key and type of information ?


I read some forum, nothing works...

Hello jeangabin03,

I'm surprised that you didn't have found anything related to your question. In any case the Item type - Zabbix active and I believe you need to use log[file,<regexp>,<encoding>,<maxlines>,<mode>,<output >] item. But please clarify what exactly you want to parse from the text files? Because making a syslog or text storage from Zabbix isn't the best thing you want to do because of the database size.
