    Actions fail to email users on certain triggers

    Hello everyone. I really hope I can explain this properly in order to get some help.

    Here is the situation. I have setup actions based on triggers to email out when there is a problem, however certain actions will email out to the users but others will not.

    Here are the triggers in the ACTION:

    Maintenance status not in maintenance
    Trigger = BMSQL-HOST-QA01: Free disk space is less than 5% on volume C:
    Trigger = BMHYP-HOST-QA01: Processor load is too high on BMHYP-HOST-QA01
    Trigger = BMHYP-HOST-QA01: Lack of free memory on server BMHYP-HOST-QA01
    Trigger = BMHYP-HOST-QA01: Free disk space is less than 5% on volume C:
    Trigger = BMHYP-HOST-QA01: Free disk space is less than 5% on volume E:
    Trigger = BMSQL-HOST-QA01: Free disk space is less than 5% on volume E:
    Trigger = BMSQL-HOST-QA01: Free disk space is less than 5% on volume F:
    Trigger = QA-HOST-DEV01: Drive Space on F LOW QA-HOST-DEV01
    Trigger = QA-HOST-DEV01: Drive Space on G LOW QA-HOST-DEV01
    Trigger = QA-HOST-DEV01: Drive Space on E LOW QA-HOST-DEV01
    Trigger = BMSQL-HOST-QA01: Processor load is too high on BMSQL-HOST-QA01
    Trigger = BMSQL-HOST-QA01: Free disk space is less than 5% on volume G:
    Trigger = BMSQL-HOST-QA01: Lack of free memory on server BMSQL-HOST-QA01

    This is the operation in the action:

    Send message to users: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX, XXXXXXXXXXXX via Gmail2
    Start: Immediately
    Duration: Default
    Action: Edit/Remove

    The users are in a USER GROUP which is enabled and has read/write permissions to all host groups.

    The users also have media created a verified working.

    (I do apologize however I can not post screen shots to the thread for some reason.)

    I just can't make sense as to why some actions work and others don't.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Take a look at the action audit log. If there's nothing in it, Zabbix came to the conslusion that it should not attempt so do something. A list of possible reasons is here: http://www.zabbix.org/wiki/Docs/acti...notified.3F.22
