Hi,

configured in zabbix_server.conf :

DBHost=mymysqlserverip
DBName=zabbix
DBUser=zabbix
DBPassword =zabbixuserpasswordonmysqlserver


Log error:

[Z3001] connection to database 'zabbix' failed: [1045] Access denied for user 'zabbix'@'XXXXXXXXX' (using password: YES)

XXXXXXXX uses zabbixserver ip and not dbserver ip configure in DBName

Why??

Did you change the configuration from your initial Installation Setup ?

I have a similiar Problem, Zabbix does not really accept my changes to the Database settings.

It just keeps insisting on the old database settings.

So did you change your config ?

Hello Andrew, thanks for answering, in the end what I did was reinstall zabbix. Afterwards I already accept correctly the changes of the configuration file.
