Cannot access (initial) web interface for setup.

    Alo,

I've set up zabbix according to the 1.1.4 docs (installing 1.1.5), but for the life of me cannot access the initial Introduction (& setup) web interface. When I enter the URL for the first time (http://server/zabbix/) when it is supposed to take me to the intro & setup page, I get the zabbix login page.

Now I obviously dont have any login credentials for the system yet, as they need to be defined whilst going through the web interface?

I have tried re-installing, but the same thing occurs every time. Why am I not getting to the right page as mentioned in 2.4.5, "step 1" ? Also double checked my steps, and am not missing anything.

    Vanyuan.

    Tried 1.1.4 as well...

But got the same problem whereby it takes me to the first login page, instead of the intro & configuration page. I dropped the db, and started from scratch.

What am I doing wrong? Please can someone help.

Where did you read that you will get something else than a login page ?

AS far as I know the setup page is only for version 1.3 and newer and not available in 1.1.x versions. amke sure you are reading the documentation on the 1.1 stuff for the setup.

          Thanks.

          Alo guys,

Thanks for the replies, I came right thanks. I passed the section describing the web login page etc, and logged in with the Admin details. All seems to be fine.

Thank You Vince2 and sbadger :-)
