    Can't add or modify users

I'm installing the new 3.4 Zabbix on ubuntu 16.04.3 using the official packages and everything is ok. When I tried to change the password for the Admin user and I click Update I get this error:

    Cannot update user
    Details
Invalid parameter "/1/usrgrps": cannot be empty.

When I enter the user page, the input box for the Groups field is empty and I can't write anything into it.

What is happening? Any help please.

      Hi,

If you have no groups, there must be select button on the right side of the field (see screenshot). You can specify group (Zabbix administrators in your case) there.

Same problem - no Groups select button

I've got the same issue, but no button to select the Groups. It just isn't there.
I'm taking it there's something wrong with my installation - for my specific case.

I have no any buttons near Group field.
          For Centos 7 +Zabbix 3.4 - all is correct.

I think it is trouble only for Ubuntu package.

Sorry, but i cannot confirm that, just today installed fresh Ubuntu 16.04 from scratch with Zabbix Server 3.4.6 on MySQL and Apache. Everything works as expected.

            few questions :
            - do you use MySQL or PostgreSQL database ?
            - have you followed all instructions from manual ?
            Code:
            # wget http://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/3.4/ubuntu/pool/main/z/zabbix-release/zabbix-release_3.4-1+xenial_all.deb
            # dpkg -i zabbix-release_3.4-1+xenial_all.deb
            # apt-get update
apt-get update part is very important, otherwise Ubuntu will not update repository and can install some old Zabbix from Ubuntu repositary.

            Regards,
            Kaspars

I have same issue with installation of latest version of Zabbix to Debian9/Nginx webserver.
Page of user cannot load old groups and cannot initiate Groups field, this field keeps disabled. As a result profile of user cannot be saved.
Seems it happens because of JavaScript error. In Console I see this error message:
              Code:
jsLoader.php?ver=3.4.6&lang=en_GB&showGuiMessaging=1:8331 Uncaught ReferenceError: ED is not defined

Remove the last version installed of front end (eg: zabbix-web-mysql) and install version 3.4.4

Here works after install another version from front-end

I have 3.4.7 installed and have the same issues. I have attempted to uninstall the front end and reinstall with no results. You're saying to remove the last version installed of the front end and install 3.4.4? How would I do that? When I direct it to download the package, it grabs 3.4.7 (i.e. wget http://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/3.4/ub...xenial_all.deb). And is it only the front end? Or does the Mysql package need to be downgraded as well?
                  Thank you.

This line is a problem, you can see it in console:
                        if ((IE || ED) && typeof sessionStorage.scrollTop !== 'undefined') {
                        Edit main.js:
                        nano /usr/share/zabbix/js/main.js
On the end of that file replace above line with:
                        if ((IE) && typeof sessionStorage.scrollTop !== 'undefined') {

Hi, just wanted to say that the problem is now present on RHEL/CentOS with Zabbix version 3.4.9 when installing from official zabbix repository.

There was no error with the combination of Zabbix 3.4.9 and Google Chrome 66.0.3359.170.

When updating to Zabbix 3.4.9, the URL to access is as follows.

                            /zabbix/jsLoader.php?ver=3.4.9&lang=en_GB&showGuiMessaging =1

On the screen you presented, it seems that it is an error accessing the following URL.

                            jsLoader.php?ver=3.4_GuiMessaging=1

Is not it possible to update the frontend of Zabbix?

Please check the version of the installed package.
Then try restarting the web server and reloading the web browser.

You're right Atsushi!!! I updated my server (yum update) and my browser and it seems to be fine now.
