Appliance setup hangs while scanning local repositories?

Hello everybody!

I'm trying to install the current Zabbix appliance (zabbix_appliance_3.4.6_x86_64.iso as of 15 Jan) in a VM (Oracle VirtualBox 5.1.28 under Win 7 Pro).

The VM has 1.5 GB RAM and bridged network, its MAC gets registered with DHCP successfully. I choose MySQL installation and everything seems to work until reaching the step "Configuring apt". The progress bar for "scanning local repositories..." will move to 50% and then sit there forever (read: until resetting the VM).

Has anyone else seen this problem (or even solved it...)?

Hmm, while the installer claims to scan local repos it still seems to try to access URLs at zabbix.com. Because the appliance apparently expects an IPv6 environment that's the point where it hangs indefinitely. Switched to package installation now... :-/

I had the same problem, you need internet conexión for "Configuring apt".
