    Cannot access http://MyIp/zabbix !

Hello dear people from zabbix forums,

So i wanted to try out the Zabbix monitoring for our Datacenter.
I followed the installation steps for CentOS 7. Everything went okay, but when i gotten to the step where i have been asked to point my browser to http://myip/zabbix, i get nothing. So i am stuck and i have no absolute clue what is going on. Same thing happened with another monitoring tool called Cacti.

    Any suggestions?

Make sure port 80 is open to the IP you are coming from. This is a typical issue for new installs.

No worries. Was the blocked port your issue?

I have it (kinda) running now. It was apache not having permission to the zabbix folder inside html. So i did was chown apache:apache /var/www/html/zabbix.
But now the pre-requisitions aren't correct while i have all the php modules installed... i have made another post for that one.

Strange that you had to monkey with those permissions. I have never had to do that for any of my installs.
