Latest data in ZABBIX is not refreshing

    Latest data in ZABBIX is not refreshing

    Dear all,

    When we check the latest data in the zabbix console, it does not refresh. Though the zabbix_agentd process is up and running.Can somebody find a solution for this problem as this is the bottleneck of monitoring.

    Hi all,

    just wanted to check if anybody else is also facing the similar problem,
    I am not able to resolve this issue....suddenly the latest data does not refresh, if we check the logs there is no details in it......

    in the hosts screen it shows as monitored and available

      I have just installed version 1.1.6 from zero and followed the example in the manual http://www.zabbix.com/downloads/ZABB...ual%20v1.4.pdf
      (Page 108).

      However I don´t see any graphics. I thought it was my fault until I saw this post. Any idea of how I could solve the issue?

        Hello,
        well I have the same problem. I can´t understand when it works and when not. The last "update" was 4 hours ago. My Items are defined with 60 seconds refresh. So should the "latest data"-view refreshed after every 60s,too?

        PS: It was because after mysql-connection error, zabbixserver shut down. Now all is running fine.

          Dear all,

          Sorry to intrude the postings again, The latest data for a couple of servers using SNMP agent is not getting refreshed....

          I deleted the host and added back but still we are facing the issue ..

          It refreshed only once after readding the host....
          can somebody give pointers to troubleshooting this issue

              Are ZABBIX server and agents running? Anything in server log file?

                Dear Alexie,

                Thanks for the reply.

                The Server and the agent process both are running, There is no information in the Logs( both the server.log and zabbix_agentd.log)

                Infact the server in the host page is showing as "Monitored" and "Available"

                That is the reason we are not able to figure out what went wrong,

                  Please give me a screenshot of the Latest Values for the host Also I would be interested in current system date of ZABBIX server.

                  Can you also remove server's log file, restart ZABBIX server, wait 5 min and post the log here (remove sensitive info first).

                    I have got an approval fromthe management to restart the server only after bussiness hours, and we have planned to rebot the server on monday morning.

                    I will repost the server.log after restarting the server

                        Yes I see that Line,

                        I restarted the agent process on this tru64 server, but still the data does not refresh

                              We have checked the configuration file and found ok.... Then we also restarted the agent, but still has not fixed our problem. If you want I may post the configuration file of one of my server
